Game Play
---------

* In Checkers red pieces always move first

* Move a piece by walking up to a ghost and getting in it. Always face it toward the other side of the board and get out after your turn is over.

* You may only move 1 piece per turn.

*Checkers is played on dark squares only. A Piece may move one square at a time, diagonally. If one of your pirces is next to one of your opponent's pieces and the square beyond is free you are required to jump over the opponent's pieces.

*To jump simply drive your ghost over the other piece. this is how jumps work in halo ce checkers.

*When the opponent's or your piece is jumped it should be removed from the board. Your opponent should drive his own ghost off the board or map.

*It is possible to jump many times in a row with the same piece, capturing several of your opponent's pieces.

*In the beginning pieces can only move and jump forward Diagonally. However, if a piece reaches the far end of the board it will be replaced with a king. Once it's at the end say "King Me" then your oponent should drive your ghost off the board and replace it with a king ghost. you will know a king ghost by the crown symbol on the wings.

*A king is allowed to move and jump diagonally backwards as well as forwards. Kings can be captured like any other piece.

*You win by caputring all of your opponent's pieces, or by blocking them so that they cannot move.

*There may be other rule sets, but this way is recomended for this map.

*Checkers strategy is built around the idea that you force your opponent to jump in order to get them into a bad position.

Have Fun Playing.
